Vietnam Water Resources Protection Network – VIWACON through the project “Joining Hands to Protect Water Resources” has contributed to building effective models to protect the environment in Da Nang. These efforts are creating significant changes, helping to improve the ecosystem, raise community awareness, and create a sustainable future for the environment and people’s lives.
Mr. Nguyen Phuong Binh – Fisherman at Tho Quang fishing port, Da Nang: “From 2022, we have been given 3 bags for each boat to classify waste: household waste, solid waste and recyclable waste. Every time we go to the sea, we hang 3 bags behind the steering corner, for example, put packaging in there, beer cans, red bull cans, water bottles in there, batteries or flashing lights, rotating lights, light bulbs in there. That has become a habit of Da Nang fishermen.”
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh – Thai Lai village, Hoa Nhon commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city: “The dishwashing liquid model does not contain chemicals, so when I use it, I feel very good. I find it beneficial, saving about 150 to 100 VND on dishwashing liquid, ensuring the health of my children and grandchildren.”
