Tiếng ViệtOn May 14, 2023, the Da Nang Youth Union will organize a program to inaugurate and hand over the Youth project “Communities join hands to protect water sources and improve the landscape of Phu Loc river in Thanh Khe district”.
Expected to be held at the University of Physical Education and Sports of Da Nang city, the program was honored to have the participation of city leaders, mass organizations: the City Party Committee for Mass Mobilization; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee city; Resource base and environment; Environmental Protection Sub-Department; People’s Committee of Thanh Khe District; People’s Committee of Thanh Khe Dong Ward; People’s Committee of Thanh Khe Tay Ward; Thanh Khe District Union; Center for Environmental and Community Research (CECR); together with representatives of leaders of companies and universities in the city; and especially the presence of a large number of people and youth union members.
The youth project “Communities join hands to protect water sources and improve the landscape of Phu Loc river in Thanh Khe district” has been implemented by the Da Nang Youth Union since February 2023 to show the spirit of enthusiasm about participation in environmental protection of union members, youth and community groups; contribute to creating a clean and green landscape for the Phu Loc river area. This is a “key” youth project of the city’s youth in 2023, receiving the participation, coordination and support of all levels and sectors, the companionship of experts and especially the support of local people.
After a period of start-up and implementation, up to now, 05 categories of the Works (1. Wall murals; 2. Flower pots system; 3. Environmentally friendly trash cans; 4. Awareness board environmental protection; 5. Implementation of 02 models “Fishers protect water sources” and “Each household has a section of road”) has been successfully completed.

At the Program, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union will organize the inauguration and handover of the Works to relevant organizations and individuals to ensure the regular and effective implementation, maintenance and protection of the works with categories that have been implemented during the past time.
