Tiếng ViệtThis morning, November 18, 2022, the Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR) held a discussion on the new contents and orientations in the Amended Law on Water Resources 2022 in order to orient and build studies that contribute to providing information for the drafting agency of the Amended Law on Water Resources Law, and at the same time sharing and exchanging the needs of the drafting agencies of the Amended Law on Water Resources 2022.
The program was attended and shared by: Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Anh – officers of the Department of Water Resources Management. Along with that are discussions and comments on the draft from VIWACON network experts: Mr. Nguyen Khac Hung – Director of CECR, Mr. Ngo Huy Liem and Ms. Huynh Thi Lieu Hoa – senior advisors of VIWACON, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong – expert of INEST, along with members of the Board of Directors and officers of CECR.

Through the shared content, the experts and the CAWACON project team have grasped the key contents of the amendment of the Law on Water Resources. Since then, developing studies and implementing activities in line with the direction of the Amended Law on Water Resources is underway. This is the right time to participate in supporting the drafting agencies of the draft Amended Law on Water Resources, to ensure practicality and sensitivity, and achieve the highest efficiency.
