Communications – Resource mobilisation Deputy Director

Ms. Dang Thuy Trang is currently Deputy Director in charge of Communications & Resource Mobilization of the Center for Environment and Community Research (CECR). She is mainly responsible for developing and organizing the implementation of communication strategies, expanding the network of domestic and international relations as well as planning and executing fundraising for CECR.

Ms. Trang has worked for 10 years with activities for sustainable development, especially environmental protection. She is mainly in charge of 2 CECR activity fields: developing, organizing and implementing communication activities to change behavior and advocate for policies on water conservation, water pollution control, and waste management along the value chain and building environmental education programs and programs aiming at promoting enterprises to effectively carry out CSR activities.

“Environmental protection and climate change adaptation require meaningful participation by all, and communication is an important tool to help promote that meaningful participation. To achieve this goal, communication activities need to be designed based on scientific evidence, delicately and flexibly combining scientific data and artistic elements.”
