World water day: PLEASE STOP NOW ACTIVITIES MAKE WATER POLLUTION

[Hanoi, march 22, 2014] Supporting World Water Day, Center for Training and Communication Environment and Center for Environment and Community Research organize event in Ngọc Khánh lake. The event attract 300 participant. They are volunteers of Vietnam Environment Administration, Hanoi Lake Club, the Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, Union woman Ngoc Khanh Ward and students of some university in Hanoi. The massge of event is “PLEASE STOP NOW ACTIVITIES MAKE WATER POLLUTION”.
Sharing at event, Mr. Truong Manh Tien – Chairman of Hanoi Lake club said that: “We were aware of the importance of water resources for the survival of mankind and all species on Earth – the only planet with life currently exists. However, the specific actions to protect and preserve the purity of the water resources was disproportionately. Let’s start with the practical action right now to protect the water where you live and work. ”
At the same time, in Hoang Van Thu and Ha Dinh ward, Association woman Hoang Van Thu ward and Ha Dinh Live green club also kick off cleanup environment lake in their local.
This event is activities as well as the opening act for months to protect lakes in Hanoi, starting on 03/22/2014 and ending on 04.22.2014 is Earth Day. During this month many activities cleanup lake and communication enhanced awareness will be implemented by the member clubs of Hanoi lake.
