With her strength in environmental engineering and technology, Ms. Hang is deeply involved in water pollution control programs, evidence research, environmental policy recommendation as well as organization network coordination and the mobility of the community, businesses, press and local government agencies participation. She brings dedication, logic and commitment to the mission of conserving Vietnam’s water resources that CECR is pursuing. In the past 5 years, Ms. Hang has played an important role in designing projects related to waste segregation and initially piloting a circular economy approach to waste management in some localities in Danang and Hanoi with an aim of promoting changes in people’s awareness and behavior in waste separation at source, mobilizing collection and recycling businesses to participate in completing the waste value chain, contributing to the implementation of the Environmental Protection Law 2020.
“I am honored to serve as the Deputy Director of CECR. Every day, I wake up and have a golden chance to work with teammates who are happy, hard-working and never give up. Our team cares deeply not only about rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, and seas, but also about the people and communities that live on them. It’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of life with many expectations, but every day, my work reminds me that we have more in common than we think. Each of us lives on water. My job is to work with the entire CECR team to live up to our promise to our supporters, partners and friends – to protect our water sources and a healthy living environment for generations to come!”
